Ivy Moxam makes a desperate 999 call from a phone box, and escapes from the cellar, her prison for the last 13 years. DI Elliott Carne and DS Lisa Merchant have no clue how to proceed with the case and so question Ivy about her time been imprisoned, as they realise that she is who she says she is, there's a leak to the press and the police have to quickly get to the Moxam family before they hear the news from the tabloids. The family are reunited, with younger sister Emma been the only one to have doubts. The police find the home that Ivy was held prisoner, but the kidnapper is long gone. However in the home, there is obvious evidence that Ivy may of been lying the entire time about who she really is.
