Reminiscent of Rod Serling's classic "Twilight Zone" series. ABC took a chance with a contemporary series in which actor James Coburn introduced the weekly anthology of mysterious tales of the supernatural. The opener features convincing Robert Webber as a TV newsman who is undergoing a metamorphosis. A television reporter suspects that a network anchorman has met with foul play. The memory of Rod Serling was a tough act to follow and the show failed to click.
