S05E06 My Sister and Her Two Year Old Murdered by Her Ex

Christine Chambers found the courage to leave her violent partner David Oakes and to fight for custody of their two-year-old daughter Shania. But on June 6, 2011, Oakes turns up at her home unannounced, forces her to strip and subjects her to a degrading attack, torturing her and telling her "If I can't have you, no one else will".
The attack culminates in Oakes shooting dead both Christine and their daughter two-year-old Shania at point blank range. Oakes is sentenced to life in jail and is told he will never be released – but two years into his sentence he dies of cancer.
Christine's sister tells us how she feels cheated of justice and former Detective Superintendent David Swindle and psychologist Emma Kenny examine the disturbing details of this horrific double murder.
