John Craven and Johnny Ball are assisted in their quest around Hampshire and Dorset by experts Charles Hanson and Philip Serrell. Along the way, John from Countryfile is treated to a collection that once belonged to a father of modern scientific archaeology, whilst Johnny has a go as a member of the Royal Signals.
