Inspector Callum Isitt teams up with the police to track down four dogs in London, including two St Bernards that have allegedly been beaten by their owners. The trail leads him to Parliament Square, where it is believed that dogs like the missing ones are being used to scam passers-by out of cash. Meanwhile, Inspector Anthony Joynes visits a property where seven underweight American bulldog pups are struggling to get enough nutrition from their exhausted mum
