Terra's mom hates surprises, but that hasn't stopped Terra and Joe from taking Penny to Texas for an unannounced visit. The family celebrates Penny's one-month birthday and a thunderstorm forces Grandma to abruptly leave the party and tend to her dogs. Terra is left disappointed and wondering if her mom will even make it to the upcoming wedding.
