Twenty-two year-old Sarah is a beautiful and intelligent young woman. From the outside, it seems like she has everything going for her: a loving family, a committed boyfriend, and a college education. But five years ago, a trip to Japan changed her life forever when she found herself at the epicentre of a horrifying earthquake and tsunami in which thousands died. Plagued by survivor's guilt and intense media exposure, Sarah hit the bottle to numb the pain. Now, her drinking habit has climbed to 40 ounces of vodka a day, and her family is terrified that Sarah won't make it long enough to get help.
