It is three months later. Bea has been sentenced to twelve years for manslaughter and is confined to the psychiatric ward, under heavy sedation. Meanwhile, Franky has risen to the top and is ruling the compound with notably more malice than before. Erica has been replaced by Joan Ferguson, a tyrannical and intelligent minded officer, who decides that changes need to be made. When Franky declines Ferguson's offer of alliance, she becomes fixed on ending Franky's reign. Seeing a potential in Bea, Ferguson forces her off the sedatives and returns her to the compound. But Bea, consumed with grief, realizes that now is the time to exact her revenge against Brayden for killing her daughter.
