Karl Ritter has his pilot's licence suspended because he has put off taking government required medical tests. Reluctantly he hires 28 year-old Kate Ashcroft as a temporary pilot. When she proves her skill by avoiding a midair accident, what looks like a fiery relationship becomes a long-standing one.
