Avril continues to cut Ken out of her business in an effort to protect Relton. Charles is suspicious of his father's unexpected arrival but very interested in a opportunity put forward by Laura. However, his plans to build the marina face some set backs. Jan takes an instant dislike of Sir John Stevens' nephew Robert Hastings; unfortunately, if she is going to make a success of her perfume venture, she needs to keep him on side.
