Ana, who has been clean from heroin for 15 years, still lives on a knife-edge. She has experienced everything that addiction can throw at her - from committing crime, to the deaths of loved ones and a adulthood of living with HIV. Now Ana is helping her teenage daughter, Rita, understand the true cost of addiction and dangers of drugs.
The risk of drugs are apparent. Policeman Sgt Green tries to catch a prolific burglar in the hope that capture will finally lead to beat his addiction, while local charity One25 supports street sex worker Karyn, whose life hangs by a thread as she sells her body in pursuit of the next fix.
