Cassie and Oliver are tired of living in LA rental properties with their three dogs so they're looking for a spacious house with a big yard in the San Fernando Valley. Oliver, a former chef, wants a ranch-style home with a huge kitchen while Cassie, a former swimmer, dreams of a pool and a cottage-style home. After they find their perfect place, Cassie and Oliver find themselves in over their heads and knee-deep in construction problems. They sort out how to handle over-sized appliances and a new layout to create a design they can both agree on.
