Christian trifft nach dem Sport auf eine alte Freundin, von der er fälschlicherweise glaubt, dass diese obdach- und mittellos ist. Er fühlt sich für ihre Lebenssituation verantwortlich, weshalb er ihre Einladung zum Essen annimmt. Dort angekommen stellen Christian und Emily fest, dass sie jedoch sehr wohlhabend ist. Die beiden machen sich bei den anwesenden Gästen unbeliebt.
