On today's episode of Earth Odyssey, we explore one of the biggest and most populated deserts in the world – the Thar Desert. There are many animals that call this Indian desert home, but it is also home to the thriving city of Jaipur. Over three million people live in this busy metropolis, but they share the streets and shops with macaque monkeys. But not all of them behave, and the troublemakers must be sent back into the wild. While we're in the wild, we'll go to a grassier part of the desert where deer, hogs and peacocks graze. But they have to watch their backs for one of the Thar Desert's most dangerous predators – the tiger. We then head high above the trees where one of the most fascinating migrations in the animal kingdom flies. Cranes makes their way through the Thar DESERT and it's a mesmerizing sight to see this natural behavior. Then we go full circle back to our troop of macaques as they face their biggest competition yet.
