Faceless's plan to download himself into Masaru looked to have succeeded, but inside Masaru's head a fierce struggle unfolds as his mind attempts to resist Faceless's efforts to take over. With the rocket's launch time drawing ever nearer, Masaru again engages Faceless in a duel. Meanwhile, elsewhere in the monastery, Colombine and Diamantina face off in their own head-to-head battle.
