Blaming herself for the death of Latif, Canan is wrestling with the traumatic effects of witnessing the incident. Although Selim tries to console Canan, he is also seriously burdened by the event. While Akgün is worried about Yağmur, he receives the news of his own father's death. Selim takes him to Istanbul to attend the funeral. Although Akgün has said that he will not forgive his father, he finds himself mourning his father's death. But his grief is soon overcome by a surprise. Returning from the funeral, Selim is quickly chasing the mole. Akgün cannot bear the guilt of the lies he has told Selim and decides to return to Istanbul for good. Yağmur does not want to accept Akgün's decision. Akgün, on the other hand, is unaware that he is about to walk into Selim's trap prepared for the mole, when he tries to settle a last score before leaving for Istanbul.
