The Bidding Room

S03E13 Episode 13

Nigel Havers welcomes four more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.

First through the doors is Tony, with a mid-century teak sideboard that he bought for £100. Having restored it to its former glory, Tony is hoping to sell for a good profit. Can he get the mid-century dealers to pay what he's after?

Next into our Yorkshire HQ is Michelle, with an antique comptometer. This old accounting machine has our dealers stumped, but can she get the numbers up when they start bidding?

Next to face the dealers is Andy, with a coin-operated arcade machine. It is in pristine condition and has retro appeal, so can he persuade the buyers to bid up past the price that he's hoping for?

Last in is Julie, with a very unusual doll. This 1900s boudoir piece has Parisian provenance and certainly catches the eye. Which of the dealers will love it enough to take it home?

Today's dealers are Ian, JB, Adi, Moses and Lucy, Estelle, Tash and James.
