"What an idiot!" Stunned, Johann Leitner looks through his binoculars. The avalanche blast has just ignited. The clueless guy down there must obviously have overlooked the barriers. Before the blaster and the mayor can react, Johann is already hurtling downhill on his skis. At the last second, he pulls the clueless hiker back. As both lie breathless in the snow, it is once again Johann's turn to look stunned, but this time with joy. For lying next to him is unmistakably his own brother Wolfgang. He has managed to pull off the surprise. For he had not informed anyone that he had been called from Boston/USA to Innsbruck University for a 14-day lecture series. Maria is completely over the moon to see her eldest again so unexpectedly.
