Luise kann es kaum glauben: Dennis wird tatsächlich verhaftet. Merles Tod scheint gesühnt und Josi wähnt sie in Sicherheit. Doch aus Mangel an Beweisen wird Dennis auf freien Fuß gesetzt, er lauert Josi auf und erpresst sie mit einem Sexvideo. Josi begreift, dass niemand verstehen wird, dass sie sich – wenn auch unwissentlich – mit dem Mörder ihrer Schwester eingelassen hat. Daraufhin begibt sie sich mit Dennis auf die Flucht nach Belgien.
