Sian is frustrated that she still hasn't been able to contact the Gower family who lived at the farmhouse – David, a former headmaster, his wife Rose-Mary and their son John-Paul. But there is a breakthrough of another kind when the current owner of Penyffordd Farm gets in touch and invites her over to see the house she's heard so much about.
Sian is welcomed in by Michael, who bought the house in Flintshire from the Gowers despite stories that it was haunted. He never believed their accounts, but he has heard rumours of the gravestone of a teenage girl called Jane Jones, which he suspects might still be on the property somewhere.
The archive from Dr Daniels suggests that moving this gravestone was believed to be the precursor for all the strange happenings in the house, so it's the next lead for Sian to chase.
Ghost or not, is there any historical evidence to suggest there really is a girl buried at Penyffordd Farm – and if so, why would she be buried in the garden? Sian tracks down a genealogist to see if there's any truth to the story and finally gets an opportunity to speak to a member of the Gower family…
