Journalist Zinchuk was shot in the head in the courtyard of his house in the car. After that, Revenko's teacher was strangled with a garrote. Emelya finds out that there is a connection between the two victims: Zinchuk and Revenko were classmates and friends.
Emelya and Vasin come to Revenko's mother, who shows them a photo album. One of the photos shows Zinchuk, Revenko, their third friend Prokhorov and classmates. It turns out that one of the girls, Tonya, committed suicide because of an unhappy love affair...
