Friends Mitya, Denis and Victor arrive at a rented cottage and find the corpse of Irina Safonova, Mitya's friend, in the house. Valuables are missing. Shortly before their return, thieves actually got into the cottage. The opera is sure that they killed the woman. Thieves, Ferret and Owl, in turn, throw away stolen items, but leave credit cards, which are why they get caught. During the interrogation, the Ferret claims that when they entered the house, Irina was already dead...
