In March 2021 in Balashikha, second-grader Kostya Shapkin disappears on his way home from school. His parents think that the boy has gone out with his friends and is about to return. But when it starts to get dark and the child is not found anywhere in the neighborhood, the parents start to panic. / In the Krasnoyarsk region, two friends went into the forest for porcini mushrooms. At the appointed time, one of the friends returns to the car, and the second, Gennady Lemeshchenko, disappears.
