The daughter of a prominent businessman Ivan Bazhov goes to the department with a statement that as a child she was abused by her father, and now he sticks with the same intentions to her younger sister Lilya. Evidence found in the businessman's house confirms Bazhov's guilt. Ivan is arrested, his wife Mira leaves him, but soon it turns out that all the facts are rigged. Bazhov was acquitted and released. And soon he is found murdered in his office.
