Having received an anonymous call from an unknown man, the Stepnov family learns about the disappearance of young Nelly. The mother and sister of the kidnapped girl are convinced that Nelly led a decent life and could not bring herself into trouble herself. Contrary to Bobrova's persuasion, Nelly's mother speaks on television with an appeal for help in finding her daughter.
