Description

Bandolera was a Spanish television series produced by Diagonal TV for Antena 3 and set in Andalusia in the late nineteenth century. It was released on Monday, 10 January of 2011 in prime time (22:00) and from Tuesday January 11 came to occupy a daily basis in the afternoon slot (16:00 h) until 11 January of 2013, the day they ended their emissions. The 1st season had 168 chapters and the 2nd season had 342. The series was a historical fiction set in an imaginary town called Arazana, which was located ideally and indefinitely in the Andalusian mountains of the late nineteenth century. The filming was done in a studio in Madrid and tourist town of Navalcarnero. Mixing own romantic melodrama of telenovelas adventures with stories of bandits, the series was starring at first by the couple formed by Marta Hazas and Carles Francino. After the abandonment of the latter's character Sarah Reeves remained the backbone of the frame, centered mainly in the group of bandits and personal stories of the various inhabitants of Arazana: the Civil Guard, the girls of the inn Montoro families, Perez Flores and Garmendia, among others. Secondary campus would renew every so often, but unlike other daily serials starring much of the cast remained until the end.
