Description

Strictly Come Dancing star Len Goodman enjoys his food – but the food he loves is good, old-fashioned grub like his Nan used to make.

Whilst the rest of the country's palates have rapidly broadened over the last few decades – taking on exciting new flavours, recipes and cooking techniques – Len's taste buds have stayed firmly in the realms of the past. He's never tried curry, eaten spaghetti and even pizza seems exotic. Ever since he used a pancake to wipe his face, his family said enough was enough.

In this series, Len needs to give his old-fashioned palate a wake-up call, but with so much choice out there, he doesn't know where to start…Enter loveable top chef Ainsley Harriott. Ainsley is going to act as Len's guide and mentor, as Len embarks on a culinary road-trip around Britain. The two chums will travel in a special street food van, to discover the foods Len's been missing out on.

Together Len and Ainsley will seek out Britain's most vibrant multi-cultural communities, where they'll meet everyone from restaurateurs to street-food vendors to discover their best-loved dishes.

Centered on a different area in each episode, the series is packed with fascinating food content and reveals the social history behind these vibrant locations.

A religion is a belief system with rituals. The missionary kopimistsamfundet is a religious group centered in Sweden who believe that copying and the sharing of information is the best and most beautiful that is. To have your information copied is a token of appreciation, that someone think you have done something good.
