A Norwegian documentary series for children and the elderly. We follow a Norwegian family traveling to the other side of the globe. They will settle on Tikopia, a traditional and isolated Pacific Island. We are part of the children's journey, and everyday life on the island full of exotic experiences. The series is about Ivi of 6 years, her little brother Jack of 4 years, cousin Jørgen of 16 years, mom Susann and dad Thomas. They live in a small palm hut on the island of Tikopia in the Pacific. Life on the small island is very simple and traditional. All food must be obtained by yourself, and you cannot just go to the store. You have to go out to sea to go fishing, or go to the garden to gather fruit and vegetables. We follow their lives there and come close to their everyday life challenges.
