In the new The Missing Persons Unit, Fatma Taspinar - herself a criminologist by training and a justice journalist at VRT NWS as well as a news anchor - joins the Federal Police Missing Persons Unit. The Unit investigates thousands of disappearances every year. It was set up at the time of the Dutroux case and celebrates its 25th anniversary on 4 September. This series brings a unique look behind the scenes of one of the most successful departments of the Federal Judicial Police.
