Talented neurosurgeon Inna Loseva, having lost her husband on her own operating table, is forced to return to her hometown to help her mother after a stroke. Due to psychological trauma, she can no longer operate, so she gets a job as a therapist in a district clinic. Loseva is trusted with the 8th precinct, which is considered by therapists to be "damned".
