Russian-language TV comedy musical by Armenian SSR's "ArmenFilm" studio based on Turkish-Armenian comedian and playwriter Hakob Paronyan (Hagop Baronian)'s play of the same name. The story about an Armenian dentist in Ottoman Constantinople in 19th c. who has married his wife for monetary reasons and now keeps getting into comical situations due to his tendency to seek love adventures.
At the same time his daughter is in love with a poor young man but father wants to marry her off to a rich man whom he owns a lot of money.
