The boy listens to his grandfather's stories about the times of the USSR and finds himself in the 1950s. A nostalgic comedy series from producer Sarik Andreasyan based on the cycle of famous children's stories by Viktor Dragunsky. The film adaptation was directed by the writer's grandson, Artemy Dragunsky.
Denis Viktorovich has been living on Karetny for a long time and he always has something to tell. When he is assigned to look after his grandson Denis, his grandfather begins to entertain the six-year-old boy with stories about another era. Their main character is the same age as Denis, who lived in the 1950s in the USSR. The mischievous man was constantly getting into trouble, but he learned lessons from his adventures. Denis, listening to his grandfather, is transported back in time and realizes that he and the boy from the middle of the last century have much more in common than it might seem.
