The 2024 season of RTÉ Documentary On One will kick off on Saturday, September 7th with a distinctive rhythm and soulful melodies as we travel back to 1980 when Bob Marley played his one and only Irish gig at Dalymount Park, Dublin. As the season progresses, we follow the journey of a young woman battling to save her equine business, and her beloved horses – we meet with young incels as we delve into the darker side of online culture. We bring to life letters dating back more than 400 years as we piece together unknown and unheard stories from Irish emigrants. And later in the season, we follow Irish people and their stories to the UK, mainland Europe and the middle East as we continue to unearth stories yet to be told…
