Nurbol returns to Aktau after 10 years in prison, hoping to start a new life and improve relations with his younger brother Azat, who works for the poaching gang of Kairat, an old friend of Nurbol. Azat hates his brother, believing him to be guilty of their father's death. When Azat is captured by Kairat's competitor, Sapar, Nurbol is forced to join the gang to save his brother.
