Sami, a German-Egyptian tax consultant, has been coping with life more badly than well since his Jette left him. He hopes to win back her heart together with their their joint shop "Tattoos & Taxes" at all costs. To raise the money, he secures a new client: Suma, a Turkish restaurant owner. But she will only hire him if he's a devout Muslim. So Sami, who turned his back on Islam, plays along. Thus, putting on this act launches a turbulent journey back to his own roots.
