A former prisoner named Stary returns to his hometown after 20 years in prison and finds out that he has a daughter, Olya, with limited mobility. In addition, the Old One still has one important unfinished business from 20 years ago. His former accomplice Rakhimov is at large, for whom the Old One just sat down, taking all the blame on himself. Meanwhile, Rakhimov rose decently with the help of the looted money and completely forgot about the existence of his former friend. The district police officer prescribes that the Old man, who is under the supervision of the authorities, must live together with his own daughter.
In an attempt to establish a relationship with Olya, the "daddy" persistently begins to help her, but the daughter is not enthusiastic about her newfound father and tries to get rid of a suddenly revealed relative. But gradually she manages to see something human in his actions, a trusting relationship is built between them and both realize that it is the Old One who needs real help and support.
